This painting depicts the elegance of the single cranes in the the water of the Platte River of central Nebraska. The Sandhill cranes are a wonderful phenomenon that takes place in the early spring, as they migrate north, bottlenecking in a few mile area, right through the middle of Nebraska; amazing!
